For many of us, access to books is something that we take for granted.  However for children in countries where large segments of the population lives below the poverty line, reading is one of the pleasures of life they will never know. Raahi Readers is an American student led community initiative dedicated to the promotion and proliferation of literature among the poorer youth of developing countries through the donation of age appropriate books to schools that lack the resources to purchase them on their own.
